The 2017 Virginia EMS Symposium has come to a close, and some congratulations are certainly in order! We are extremely proud that our Medical Director, Dr. Jeff Ferguson, was the recipient of the 2017 Governor’s EMS Award for Outstanding EMS Physician!
Dr. Ferguson is a man of many talents, who in addition to serving as an attending emergency physician with VCU Health and volunteering his time as our agency’s medical director, also provides training, education, and medical direction for other EMS agencies, including Henrico Fire and Virginia State Police Med Flight I!
We don’t know how he manages to do it all, but we do know that we are extraordinarily lucky to have Dr. Ferguson as part of our team. Congratulations!
